Blue Heeler Pup Is Searching For A Home After His Owner Passed Away

(MA) Meet Jessie, an adorable Blue Heeler mix pup who is ready to begin the next chapter of his life. Jessie had spent the first part of his life as an owned and loved dog with a home. Sadly, his owner recently passed away, leaving him alone with no home or family. But that is where Great Dog Rescue New England came in! The rescue has taken Jessie into their capable hands and placed him safely with a foster while he awaits his second, and hopefully furever, family.

    More Information On Jessie

Jessie is a 6-year-old Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) mix pup who weighs, as of 9/09/24, approximately 50 pounds. He has a short coat length, which is listed as being black, gray, blue, silver, yellow, tan, blond, and fawn. That's a lot of color! Jessie is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. This good boy is also house-trained.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Jessie is a very smart pup who has a ton of love to give. His main characteristics besides intelligence are active, loyal, and friendly. He gets along with everyone he meets, be they human or animal. He even does well with his foster resident chickens and cats. The one thing Jessie does not like, are trips to the vet! So he will need a family who can help him feel at ease in such situations.

"He loves to play ball and will run back and forth all day long without you ever getting out of your chair. He is very smart and would love to be part of an active family who can bring him on adventures." - Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder

    How Can You Help Jessie?

If you are interested in adopting Jessie please fill out the adoption application form, which can be found here. He is available for adoption to anyone 24 or older and living in New England, NY, NJ, or PA.

Another huge thing you can do to help is consider fostering! There are never enough fosters to meet the demands of all the pups in need. More information on fostering with Great Dog Rescue New England can be found in the fostering section of their official website.

If you cannot adopt or foster, an easy way to help is to share this article or Noah's Petfinder profile: www.petfinder.com/dog/jessie
