This Smiling Shiba Inu Is Ready To Start The Next Chapter Of His Life

(MA) Braxton Barnes is a fun-loving pup with an adorably huge smile that is very infectious. I know I had a smile on my face while writing about him, and I wouldn't be surprised if you have a smile on your face while reading about him.

This Shiba Inu and Chow Chow mix pup came into Last Hope K9 rescue's care for unspecified reasons. He is currently living with a foster family and, based on his many photos, appears to be thriving. But while he may look as happy as can be with that big goofy grin, don't let that fool you. He could always be happier in YOUR house!

"Braxton's spirit will never leave you with a dull moment. Is this cute, snuggly boy the one for you?" - Last Hope K 9 Rescue / Wagtopia

    More Information On Braxton

Braxton Barnes is a 5-year-and-3-month-old Shiba Inu and Chow Chow mix pup who weighs, approximately 37 pounds. Based on his photos, Braxton has a short coat length, which is mostly a reddish brown and light tan in color. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

According to Last Hope K 9 Rescue, Braxton is a fun-loving goofball who will have you laughing and loving all day. He has a zest for life that can be seen clearly through his photos. While Braxton does well with other dogs, it is important he has slow and patient introductions when meeting new canine friends. Though his foster can't say for sure, they believe he would do well with dog-savvy kids and cats. He is medium energy and loves a good play session and long walks.

As far as training goes, Braxton is fully house-trained and has not had any accidents since coming to foster care. He is working on crate training and is doing very well, especially when given frozen kongs and chews. He is also improving his leash skills and Last Hope K9 Rescue believes he would benefit from a strong and confident handler when exploring new environments.

"He would love to accompany you on his next adventures and will thrive with a patient family who's excited to continue his training!" - Last Hope K 9 Rescue / Wagtopia

Another huge thing you can do to help is consider fostering! There are never enough fosters to meet the demands of all the pups in need. More information on fostering with Last Hope K 9 Rescue can be found in the fostering section of their official website.
