Pup Whose Owner Abandoned Her At Vet After Learning Price Of Treatment Is Searching For Family

(MA) Meet Georgia, a resilient pup who has a heart full of love despite being treated so poorly in the past. This good girl was once an 'owned' pup with owners whose job it was to take care of her. Unfortunately, said owners did not do their job. Georgia was brought to the vet to have her eye examined for an undisclosed trauma. Once they learned the cost of her treatment, they left her at the vet and never came back.

Georgia sadly ended up losing her left eye completely, but has since healed very well. Furthermore, she was brought safely into the care of Great Dog Rescue New England, and placed with a caring foster family. After going through so much, it would be reasonable to assume Georgia was wary of humans, but that is not the case at all! This pup is full to bursting with love she can't wait to share with her TRUE furever family, wherever they may be.

"While she lost her left eye completely, it has healed very well and looks like she's giving you a wink! ;) While she may have lost an eye, her heart has doubled in size!" - Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder
