(MA) Meet Little Dee Piper, a local pup who is ready to find a family that is truly deserving of her. This pup has already gone through rescue care once and was adopted by a family several months ago. Sadly, that family decided "their lifestyle is unfortunately not conductive for an active dog." So, despite how amazing and well-behaved Dee Piper is, they made the decision to return her to Great Dog Rescue New England.

But as GDRNE says, "their loss is your gain - because not only is this girl gorgeous she is well trained a total sweetheart!" Now Dee Piper is back living safely with a foster family. If you think this little cutie is the pup for you, make sure you are ready for the responsibility that comes with her. Dee Piper should not have to go through the confusion and heartbreak of being returned again.

More Information On Little Dee Piper

Dee Piper is a 9-month-old Labrador Retriever and Boxer mix pup who weighs approximately 46 pounds. Dee Piper has a short coat length, which is yellow, tan, blond, and fawn in color. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Dee Piper is a well trained sweetheart who certainly did not deserve the treatment her past owners put her through. Despite what she went through, this pup LOVES everyone she meets. She especially loves children, and has experience living with kids as young as 10. Her favorite activity is going on walks and hikes, so she would appreciate an active family.

As far as training goes, this good girl is both housebroken and crate-trained. In fact, she actually enjoys sleeping in her crate. She walks well on a leash and is also good in the car. Furthermore, she has gone through obedience training and has mastered several commands including - sit, down, come, leave it, drop, and no.
