Puppy Found Living "Alone And Scared" In Culvert Now Looking For Love

(MA) Get ready to meet an adorable little puppy who had a rough start in life, but is not going to let that get in the way of her happiness! Winnie is a young Whippet mix pup who recently came into Great Dog Rescue New England's care. She was found living as a stray on a country back road where GDRNE assumes she was dumped along with her littermates.

When rescuers found her, Winnie was living alone and scared in a culvert. Though she was afraid and nervous at first, the rescuers were able to gain her trust and bring her into their care. Now living safely, and very happily, with a foster family, Winnie awaits the humans that will be her furever family. So what are you waiting for?!

    More Information On Winnie

Winnie is a 4.5-month-old Whippet mix puppy who weighs, as of 9/11/24, approximately 20 pounds. Winnie has a short coat length, which is apricot, beige, white, and cream in color. GDRNE states that at the time of her adoption, she will be spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Winnie is an incredibly sweet puppy who loves nothing more than being around her humans. She loves to follow them wherever she goes, so expect a second shadow when you end up adopting her. Winnie loves playing, especially with other pups. In fact, GDRNE recommends she go to a home with another doggy sibling who can help build her confidence. As she is still very young, Winnie will need a family committed to training her properly.

    How Can You Help Winnie?

If you are interested in adopting Winnie please fill out the adoption application form, which can be found here. She is available for adoption to anyone 24 or older and living in New England, NY, NJ, or PA.

Another huge thing you can do to help is consider fostering! There are never enough fosters to meet the demands of all the pups in need. More information on fostering with Great Dog Rescue New England can be found in the fostering section of their official website.

If you cannot adopt or foster, an easy way to help is to share this article or Winnie's Petfinder profile: www.petfinder.com/dog/winnie

Abandoning an innocent animal is disgusting and cowardly! Hope karma gives them payback! I pray Winnie finds the best home and family she deserves!🙏♥️🐾
