Saint Bernard Puppy Searching For Love After Surviving Hurricane Helene

(MA) Meet Koda, a puppy who has not had the easiest start in life. This Saint Bernard mix pup started his life as a stray. To make things even scarier, when he was just three months old Koda found himself stuck outside when Hurricane Helene hit.

Thankfully, he was discovered in a good Samaritan's yard during the devastating storm and was brought inside to safety and warmth. Since then, Koda has been taken in by Great Dog Rescue New England, and is now patiently awaiting the time when YOU decide to go get him!

    More Information On Koda

Koda is a 3-month-old Saint Bernard mix puppy. He will definitely be a big boy someday and, as of 10/04/24, weighs approximately 27 pounds. He has a long coat length, which is white, cream, and golden in color. Koda is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. GDRNE recommends he go to a family that understands what comes along with owning a Saint Bernard, such as the required grooming and training.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Koda is a very calm, sweet, and quiet young puppy. His fosters have stated that they have not heard him bark once since entering their care. In addition, he has a friendly and calm demeanor and does not seem to get stressed out by much. His favorite thing to do is go for a car ride and gaze at the world out the window. Though he has no experience with cats, Koda does get along incredibly well with other dogs and children.

"Since he is still young, he will need a family dedicated to training! We know the perfect family is out there waiting, and Koda can't wait to find you!" - Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder
