This Gentle Giant Was Surrendered After Owner "No Longer Had Use For Him"

(MA) Most stories of dogs ending up in rescue care have some element of tragedy or neglect in them. Samson's story is no exception. This Newfoundland mix pup came into Great Dog Rescue New England's Care after his previous owner "no longer had use for him". Samson had spent all five years of his life kept in a pen where he was used solely for breeding.

But now everything has changed for the better in Samson's life. After being released from his former life, he has now been able to experience freedom, love, and affection with his foster family. Just wait until he sees how comfortable YOUR bed is!

    More Information On Samson

Samson is a 5-year-old Newfoundland Dog mix puppy. He is a true gentle giant who weighs, as of 10/04/24, approximately 71 pounds. He has a long coat length, which is solid black in color. Samson is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He is also house-trained and has excellent leash manners.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Samson is a very gentle and friendly pup who is easy to fall in love with. Despite the treatment he has received in the past, this good boy LOVES people and especially children. He also does great with other pups. He is a true gentleman who has very good pup manners.
