Unique Looking Pup Searching For Over Seven Months After Brother Adopted Without Him

(MA) Meet an adorable little pup who can not understand how he has been waiting for over seven months for his furver family to come and claim him. Cooper Cutie started his life living as a stray with his brother Ruger down South in Tennessee. They were luckily both rescued by Great Dog Rescue New England.

After entering rescue care, both pups were safely placed in foster homes to await their futures. However, even though Ruger has since been adopted, Cooper has been waiting for over seven months. Could YOU be who he has been waiting so long for?

"We can't believe HE HAS BEEN WAITING SEVEN MONTHS to find his people - I mean just look at that face...and those amazing ears! They have the best coloring and are always surprising you if they are going to be up, down, or one of each :)" - Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder

    More Information On Cooper Cutie

Cooper Cutie is an 11-month-old Shepherd, Hound, and Treeing Walker Coonhound mix pup who weighs, as of 10/13/24, approximately 40 pounds. He has a short coat length which is listed as being white, cream, yellow, tan, blond, fawn, and black. That's a lot of color, and the markings, in my opinion, are very beautiful! Cooper is up to date on his vaccinations and is neutered.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Cooper is a good pup who is very well-trained and does best with positive reinforcement. He is fully crate-trained and does well with other animals including dogs and cats. He also does great around children. Additionally, he is very quiet, and his fosters refer to his quiet bark as his "huff". Though he is cautious of new people and animals at first, he warms up very quickly.

"He is very quirky in picking up the energy of where he is. He will be calm in a calm environment, and hyper in a hyper environment. Of course sometimes he will have zoomies! And his floppy ear can sometimes be upright! He's a very goofy dog who is mindful and smart." - Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder

How Can You Help Cooper Cutie?

If you are interested in adopting Cooper, please fill out the adoption application form, which can be found here. He is available for adoption to anyone 24 or older and living in New England, NY, NJ, or PA.

Another huge thing you can do to help is consider fostering! There are never enough fosters to meet the demands of all the pups in need. More information on fostering with Great Dog Rescue New England can be found in the fostering section of their official website.

If you cannot adopt or foster, an easy way to help is to share this article or Cooper's Petfinder profile: www.petfinder.com/dog/copper-cutie
