Big Island Burritos in Camino is closing to make way for something new. The eatery at 3600-B Carson Road will be transformed into a new concept by Kash Hospitality Group . This news was first seen in the Sacramento Business Journal .

Owner Pat Kashani of Kash Hospitality told the Business Journal that “a third eatery was too much for that center” given the popular restaurant in the area, and decided to try something different. The new concept, according to Kashani as reported by the Business Journal, is potentially “a beer-centric bottle shop and tasting room,” though the decision has not been finalized.

Kash Hospitality Group owns a handful of popular concepts across Hawaii and the Sacramento region, including the Tropics Island Grill restaurants, Hoptology Beer Lab + Kitchen, Citizen Capitol Craft House , Cora Coffee, and Tropics Island Grill & Ale House right down the street from Big Island Burritos.

More details will become available toward the end of summer. What Now Sacramento reached out to Kashani for more details, but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
