Doug Ducey comes back to Trump after defying him in 2020 and certifying election
Former Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey is endorsing former President Donald Trump and U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake in the 2024 election, saying he is putting “differences aside.” Ducey once denounced Lake’s election denialism and defied Trump’s request to overturn the results of the election in Arizona, where President Joe Biden won the state in 2020. Tight congressional primary goes to automatic recount in Arizona
PHOENIX (CN) — Maricopa County will begin a recount Friday in a Democratic congressional primary separated by just a few dozen votes. In the only primary yet to be called in the most populous county in Arizona, former Phoenix Vice Mayor Yassamin Ansari leads activist and former state Senator Raquel Terán by only 42 votes. The margin makes up less than 0.5% of the total votes, which triggers an automatic recount under state law.

Lakeshore 650 is Growing Into the Future
I recently attended the Prescott Valley Town Council meeting where the discussion centered on Lakeshore 650. The audience was divided in support, to say the least. My takeaway is several speakers said, “Why grow?” and persisted that growth is bad, causing unnecessary congestion, taking view sheds away, causing harm to antelope, and that buildout and density is bad, and we should learn to live with what we have. I must say, I had to resist the urge to jump up and debate.

Key components of the community will include commercial and employment opportunities, such as grocery stores, restaurants, medical offices, and more. The project will also provide diverse housing options aiming to house individuals at every stage of life and price point. This includes providing 275 attainable housing units in addition to a range of other housing options.

Attempted motorcycle theft in Laveen cut short when suspects literally caught with their pants down
PHOENIX — This Wednesday, a Valley woman stopped a suspected attempted motorcycle theft that was happening in broad daylight... Or should we say broad moonlight. Laveen resident Eric Smith shared with 12News security footage from his home that shows two men trying to wrestle his motorcycle to a red Dodge Durango parked outside.
