Jazz great Dave Brubeck once described Grammy winner Taylor Eigsti as “The most amazing talent I’ve come across.” Eigsti, a jazz pianist and Stanford Jazz Workshop faculty member, has put together an exciting show as part of the closing weekend of the seven-week Stanford Jazz Festival. The core band will include guitarist Matthew Stevens, bass player Ben Williams and drummer Matt Wilson. The four pedigreed musicians will be playing together for the first time, and Eigsti has promised to add other SJW faculty artists into the mix as well. It should be one hell of a jam session.
