CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - An 18-year-old man has been charged in connection to a Tuesday robbery in the Altavista area of Campbell County. According to the Altavista Police Department, Preston Dale Cook has been charged with grand larceny from a person, two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, robbery, breaking and entering a dwelling with intent to commit other misdemeanor, and brandishing a firearm.

Company 10 and Campbell County Public Safety were sent to 29 NB for a motor vehicle accident in the vicinity of the Main Street exit on Saturday where crews found an overturned vehicle with flames shooting from the engine compartment. The driver had already gotten out of the vehicle.
