4 locals displaced after Saturday fire destroys pair of homes
GILLETTE, Wyo. — Multiple homes, pets, cars and more were lost Saturday in a grass fire. Emergency personnel responded to calls of a fire in the area of Peaceful Valley Drive at roughly 3:30 p.m., and upon arrival found that the fire had already spread to multiple buildings and vehicles. Fire crews had to contend with wind gusts of up to 50 mph while attempting to quell the blaze.
