Local nonprofits set fundraising goals, events for WyoGives Day
GILLETTE, Wyo. — As the annual WyoGives fundraiser approaches, local nonprofits in Gillette are setting their sights on their fundraising goals. In addition to monetary goals, many groups also have a goal for recruiting new volunteers. The Gabriel Project of Wyoming, for example, is hoping to raise $10,000 as well as secure 10 new volunteers, according to a press release.

GILLETTE, Wyo. — A Gillette man died Friday night following a single-vehicle rollover near Shober Road and Outback Lane, according to the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office. Benjamin R. Kauranen, 19, died on June 14 after he was reportedly pinned beneath a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee following a single-vehicle rollover at the corner of Shober Road and Outback Lane around 10:25 p.m., according to Sheriff’s Office Investigations Sgt. Gary Sams.
