    Woman seriously injured in Town of Campbell crash, hospitalized: New York State Police

    One person was seriously injured Sunday morning in a one-vehicle crash in the Town of Campbell.

    A preliminary investigation indicated a 2009 Subaru was traveling west on Woodcock Road when it exited the roadway on the north shoulder, overturned and struck a tree, according to New York State Police at Painted Post.

    The driver, an 18-year-old woman whose name was not released, was LifeNet flighted to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester with serious injuries, troopers said. Her condition is not known.

    The investigation into the crash is continuing. State police were assisted at the scene by the Campbell and Painted Post fire departments, AMR Ambulance, and LifeNet of New York.
