The event will take place from 4-6 PM at Toyota of Victoria on Navarro. If you will be attending, we ask that you enter the Toyota of Victoria parking lot in the rear on Salem Rd. You will stay in your car and the backpacks will be given to you at your window. The event will be first come, first served.

One person killed, one in critical condition after argument escalates near bar in Converse area
CONVERSE, Texas — One person was killed and another is in critical condition after an argument escalated to a shooting in a parking lot near Converse. Bexar County Sheriff's Office says the shooting happened in a parking lot in the 8200 block of FM 78 around 1 a.m. Friday. Bexar County reached a historically high number of drug-overdose deaths in 2023, with 509, according to a Public Health Watch analysis of provisional federal data. Three hundred twenty-seven of those deaths involved methamphetamine — also an all-time high — according to the data, compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. There were 498 overdose deaths in 2022.
