Man kidnapped couple after dispute over his missing phone, prosecutor says
Syracuse, N.Y. – A man kidnapped a couple who was letting him crash on their couch after he became upset over a missing free phone, a prosecutor said. Deshawn Apgar, 34, was scheduled to be arraigned on first- and second-degree kidnapping charges Tuesday but failed to come to court. Judge Gordon Cuffy issued a warrant for the man’s arrest.
Binghamton Deli Ordered Closed by City Just After Opening
A business that set up shop at the former site of a Binghamton Subway restaurant was open for a short time before it was directed by a code enforcement officer to close.
