Expanded hours: Canby announces changes to Civic Center times

The City of Canby will expand Monday through Friday operations at the Civic Center – 222 NE 2nd Ave. – effective Monday, July 1.

The Civic Center’s expanded hours will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or by appointment from 8 to 9 a.m. The Canby Civic Center houses administration, finance, economic development, planning, and the municipal court.

The extension allows city staff to offer greater opportunities to serve the Canby community.

Hours of operation for all City facilities are listed below:

City Hall/Civic Center (ph. 503-266-4021): Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or by appointment from 8 to 9 a.m.

Police Department (ph. 503-266-1104): Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

CAT/Transit Offices (ph. 503-266-4022): Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Public Works Office (ph. 503-266-0798): Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., by appointment only. Canby Public Library (ph. 503-266-3394): Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Sundays.

Swim Center/Pool (ph. 503-266-2761): Public swims are open Monday to Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday to Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.; or Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Summer swim lessons will be held through Aug. 23, registration required.
