CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – A family-owned and operated company that’s served the Valley since 2001 is expanding.

Sky Roofing broke ground Monday on the spot where owners plan to build the expansion. The company is constructing a new office building right next to its current headquarters on Western Reserve Road in Canfield.

The new facility will be 18,000 square feet, and owners hope to have everything done by the fall of 2024. The company has offices in Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati, but they say their home is right here in the Valley.

“We expand, but Canfield is home. That’s why we are doing the offices here,” said Sky Roofing Marketing Director Jacob Ruffo. “it’s been our home the whole time, and we’re not going anywhere so it feels good to reinvest in where we started. Plant new roots in the same spot.”

4Sky Construction, also out of Canfield, is building the new offices. The company is also renovating the formerly condemned buildings on Water Street in Lowellville.
