    Headliner announced for Canfield Fair Labor Day act

    CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – The headline act for Labor Day at the Canfield Fair was announced Tuesday.

    Daughtry with special guests Buckcherry & Hinder will perform at the fair on Monday, September 2.

    Tickets go on sale Friday, July 12 on ticketmaster.com. Prices range from $39.50 to $75.

    Daughtry pounded out big hits such as “It’s Not Over,” “Home,” “What About Now,” “Waiting for Superman,” and many others. The band’s debut album, the self-titled “Daughtry,” was the top-selling album of 2007 and was the fastest-selling rock debut album in Soundscan history. It was also nominated for 4 Grammy awards and won four American Music Awards and seven Billboard Music Awards.

    Sunday night’s act will be multi-genre music artist Brantley Gilbert . The performance is set for Sunday night in the grandstand.

    Gilbert is known for songs such as “Bottoms Up,” “Country Must Be Country Wide,” “You Don’t Know Her Like I do,” and the collaboration with Lindsay Ell in “What Happens In A Small Town.”

    The 2024 fair runs from Aug. 28 through Sept. 2.
