CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) — School supplies may be making a return to stores, but summer isn’t over just yet. The Mill Creek MetroParks recreation department is helping kids make the most of their summer through a series of archery camps.

The camps are for children ages 6-12, aimed at teaching kids the fundamentals of archery. Each session is a four-day evening camp with equipment provided by the MetroParks. They will be held at the MetroParks Farm Archery Range.

The first camp was held in June and the July camp is currently underway, but fear not, there will be more opportunities. The two remaining camps will be held in August and September, with the August dates of Aug. 26-29.

The cost of the camp is $60 for residents and $70 for nonresidents. Those interested in signing up can do so here or by phone at 330-740-7114.
