Intermittent road closures to take place in Canisteo

CANISTEO, N.Y. ( WETM ) – Intermittent road closures will be taking place on Friday in Canisteo while crews perform work on a bridge.

According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office , the New York State Department of Transportation will be doing bridge deck replacement work on the bridge that carries State Route 248 over Bennetts Creek in the Town of Canisteo on Friday, July 26, from 4 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Drivers should be aware that while work is taking place the single-lane road will be closed intermittently for up to 15-minute periods.
