ELMIRA, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Elmira City School District announced Wednesday that school supplies will be given to every attending student for free in the upcoming school year. In a news release, the district said the move is to ensure equal access to supplies for students and will help promote academic success. The plan is also meant to save parents and guardians money.
