Area couple arrested for alleged ‘chronic shoplifting’
A couple accused of attempting to steal three minibikes from Tractor Supply Co. has new charges in a string of shoplifting incidents at the Farmington Home Depot. Frank Jones, 49, of Aztec, was charged with two counts of third-degree felony shoplifting, larceny, and Amanda Waller, 43, of Aztec, was charged with one count of third-degree felony shoplifting, larceny.
Rio Rancho steps up for fire victims with piles of donations
Last week, Rio Rancho sent aid to Ruidoso to aid the victims of the South Fork and Salt fires that have devastated the community. Previously, a call for donations had been set out from the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce and Edit House Productions, LLC. Fire damages mobile home in Sunland Park

Loki was actually adopted from the McKinley County Humane Society two years ago, but his owner recently surrendered him back to the shelter.
