    Police looking for couple that robbed a bank and drove getaway car to KFC to eat using cash from heist

    CANNONSBURG, PA ( WTRF )- Police say they are looking for a West Virginia couple that considered to be armed and dangerous after they robbed a bank and used that money at a KFC.

    North Strabane Police out of Pennsylvania say they are looking for Brandon D. Scerri, 29, and Kayla Pruett, 28, both of Wellsburg, West Virginia after they robbed the First National Bank in Canonsburg, PA.

    Police say the couple got away with over $7,000. North Strabane police say both Scerri and Pruett are considered to be armed and dangerous and a threat to the community

    Scerri is described as 5’11, 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

    Pruett is described as 4’11, 106 pounds, with blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair.

    Police say a nationwide extradition has been authorized and to not approach couple but to call 911 if you would see them.

    Officials were able to identify the couple after reviewing surveillance camera videos from the area and license plate readers in the township. Police say Scerri and Pruett were on first seen at a Wendy’s on the morning of the robbery where they retrieved  a piece of paper that was used to write demands. Soon after, the couple was spotted at the bank.

    According to officials, the note said the bank robber had a firearm. No firearm was shown during the robbery according to police. Police say the clothes the robber had on matched what was shown on the video at Wendy’s. Police did say that the robber used a medical face mask and a hat to mask themselves during the robbery.

    Police say after the bank, the couple went to Walgreens and purchased items with the cash they stole. They then went to KFC and ate in the dining room using money from the bank robbery.

    Both Scerri and Pruett have been charged with robbery of a financial institution and theft by unlawful taking.
