    Canton Teen and Young Adult Job Fair Returning April 22

    Teens, college students, and young adults looking for a job can visit Canton City Hall April 22 to meet potential employers.

    The Canton Teen and Young Adult Job and Volunteer Fair is set for 3 to 6 p.m. at 110 Academy St. in downtown Canton.

    Many businesses who are hiring and organizations looking for service volunteers will be in attendance, including:

    - Murph's Surf (Canton and Sandy Springs locations)

    - Goshen Valley Foundation

    - La Cantina on Main (new restaurant coming to downtown Canton in May)

    - G. Cecil Pruett Community Center and Family YMCA

    - Kidcam Summer Camps

    - Cherokee County Fire Marshal Office and Safe Kids Cherokee County

    - Universal Alloy

    - Roytec Industries

    - Dynamo Pool Management

    - Sequoyah Regional Library System

    - Cherokee Office of Economic Development

    - Canton Parks and Rec

    - Canton Public Works

    - Canton Police Department

    Event goers will be able to enjoy free snacks and drinks. There will also be opportunities to win raffle prizes.
