Videos: Watch a hot air balloon flight at the Balloon Classic

JACKSON TWP. − The annual Balloon Classic took flight Friday morning and lasted through the weekend. Balloon pilot Dan Gerbus provided the Canton Repository with time-lapse video from the Friday morning media and sponsor flight.

The flight started in Jackson Township at the Kent State University at Stark campus and landed in Massillon. It lasted about one hour.

Gerbus, 46 of Lewisville, North Carolina, piloted the Bourbon Flight balloon. It was his third year at the Balloon Classic.

The Balloon Classic, organized by the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Aultman, attracts over 130,000 visitors and balloonists from across the United States, according to the Hall of Fame Festival website .
