Authorities find sawed off shotgun at residence
Kevin Lee Kates, 46, of Keota has been charged in Haskell County District Court with possession of sawed-off shotgun/rifle. On July 10, Lt. Mitch Dobbs and Deputy Michael Tripp with the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office served a protective order on Kates at a residence on North County Road 4467D in the northern part of Haskell County, according to an affidavit.

Dewey Man Charged With Stealing From Local Business
A Dewey man was seen in Washington County Court on Wednesday after allegedly stealing property from a place of business.
