A 45-year-old man was arrested this week after he allegedly drove to Brookline from Pennsylvania and raped a minor whom he had met on a social media app. Edward Garry is facing charges of enticing a child under 16 and aggravated rape of a child, according to records from Brookline District Court.

Sunflower Festival returns to Muncy
Muncy, Pa. — Today Farm's annual Sunflower Festival is set to return Aug. 10. Susquehanna Mills Co., Today Farm & Market, and Bullfrog Brewery will be host the festival at Today Farm & Market, 215 Shady Lane, Muncy. Slow highway driver, passenger caught with more than 30 grams of marijuana
Muncy, Pa. — A driver was traveling 18 mph below the speed limit when state police troopers watched him throw a cigarette from the car. According to Trp. Dylan Houser, the vehicle being driven by Jorden Jene Walters just before 9 p.m. smelled of “raw” marijuana as he approached it. The 29-year-old Walters claimed ownership over everything in the vehicle except for a backpack being carried by passenger Christopher Andrews, Houser added.
