Lawrence Schulman Will Discuss New Book FREE at The Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor
The Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor, Maine has announced that Lawrence Schulman, the award-winning music producer, critic, translator, and author of the recently published book FREE: Words on Music by a Hi-Def Critic in an MP3 World, will give a one-hour talk at the library about the book and a few of the great vocalists of the Great American Songbook he has written about in it on Thursday, December 19, 2024 between 7 and 8 P.M.
UNH Men’s Cross Country Takes Second Place in Vermont Invite
St. Albans, VT. – Junior John Murphy (Deerfield, N.H..) led the Wildcats with a 2nd-place finish out of 55 as the University of New Hampshire men's cross country team competed in the Vermont Invite 8K race. The team finished in second place (48 points) in the Hard'Ack Recreation Area. Vermont (23 points) finished in first place, while UMass Lowell (75 points) was third and Maine (88 points) was fourth.
