    Cape Vincent hosts 3rd NNY Riverside Music & Arts Festival on July 27

    CAPE VINCENT, N.Y. (WWTI) –The Cape Vincent Arts Council hosts the third annual NNY Riverside Music & Arts Festival on Saturday, July 27, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the Cape Vincent Village Green, 357 Broadway Street, in downtown Cape Vincent. This free event features a variety of regional musicians and artists displaying their talents throughout the day.

    Attendees are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a day of great music and art in Cape Vincent. Local eateries and shops directly across from the Village Green will be open during the festival.

    The lineup of performers is still being finalized but will include the following among others:

    • Emma Bee – Watertown singer/guitarist of haunting melodies and moving stories
    • Brittany Cean – feel-good acoustic music from a Northern NY native
    • Joey Collins & the Creatives – power-trio rock band from Watertown
    • Maggie Mintz – singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist from Sackets Harbor
    • Rib & the Bones – female-fronted alternative-rock band from Oneonta
    • Sirsy – award-winning, soulful pop-rock duo from Albany

    The Cape Vincent Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization consisting entirely of volunteers. It is dedicated to providing opportunities for the public to enjoy and participate in cultural activities in and around Cape Vincent. Among the events it sponsors are the Concerts on the Green series, summer art classes for children and adults, the Stroll on Broadway, the Northern NY Riverside Music & Arts Festival and the Thousand Islands International Piano Competition for Young People.
