    Trespassing and Animal Cruelty Investigations Lead to Arrest in Lakeview

    Lakeview, Ohio - On May 26, Deputies responded to a trespassing complaint on Sunview St, Lakeview. New homeowners Joe and Sheri Brazier reported that their keys didn't work and neighbors mentioned seeing two women entering and exiting the house.

    According to police reportss the deputies found letters and license plates belonging to a number of former residents, including Alice Predmore.

    Alice Predmore confirmed she had moved out but returned occasionally to care for animals left behind. Deputies noted a strong smell of urine, feces and trash inside the house. Deputies entered through an unsecured back door and documented the poor conditions and presence of several animals.

    The case was handed over to the Dog Warden for further action.

    On May 27, while assisting with a malnourished and sickly dog near Vanhorn's Curve. The dog was in poor health and had to be euthanized. The Braziers identified the dog as one from the house on Sunview St.

    Deputies contacted Alice Predmore, who admitted struggling to care for the animals after moving out. She was arrested for animal cruelty and abandonment.

    The Dog Warden was notified to remove the remaining animals from the property.
