    Mudslide reported on Colorado mountain highway

    DENVER (KDVR) — A mudslide impacted traffic for several hours Saturday on Colorado Highway 133 south of Carbondale in Pitkin County, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

    The “large mudslide” on the highway, which occurred at Avalanche Road, was first reported early Saturday morning by Pitkin County.

    The roadway was closed for a time but has since reopened, according to CDOT.

    People were advised to drive at slower speeds on the road.
