The configurator for the 2024 Mercedes-AMG S63 E Performance has quietly gone live on the automaker's customer-facing US site, and it's appeared with a pleasant surprise: pricing is lower than we originally anticipated. First revealed for the 2023 model year in late 2022, the S63 E Performance offers 791 horsepower and a top speed of 180 mph, and when it went on sale in Europe a little more than a year ago, it was priced higher than expected with a base MSRP of €208,392.80, which translated to a little more than $227,000 at the time. Thankfully, the American MSRP is around 40 grand lower.
