    Wythe registrar relocates

The Wythe County Registrar’s Office has officially relocated to a new address at 440 W. Franklin St., Wytheville. This move is designed to provide more accessible and improved services to Wythe County voters, according to a statement from Wythe County.

The new location is just across the street from the Wythe County Administrative offices and has more parking, the statement said.

The office will continue to operate under its regular hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Residents can visit the office for voter registration, absentee voting and other election-related services.

The public is invited to a ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 17.

Early voting for the 2024 general election begins Sept. 20. To accommodate early voters, the office will also be open on two Saturdays, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
