Texas Governor Greg Abbott Sends Migrants to Chicago by Plane Amidst Rising Tensions

    2023-12-21
    • Texas Governor Greg Abbott chartered a flight transporting 91 migrants from El Paso to Chicago, adding to the city's growing migrant population.
    • Chicago is struggling to accommodate the influx, with nearly 300 migrants at O'Hare Airport and others in police stations, totaling around 14,100 in city shelters.
    • A five-year-old boy recently died in a Chicago shelter, intensifying criticism of Abbott's migrant transportation policy.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has escalated his approach to addressing the border crisis by chartering a private flight to transport 91 migrants from El Paso to Chicago.

This action comes after the city's Mayor Brandon Johnson labeled Abbott's policy as "evil," following the tragic death of a five-year-old boy in a Chicago shelter. Chicago is currently grappling with a significant influx of migrants, with nearly 300 individuals taking refuge at O'Hare Airport and others accommodated in police stations. The total count of migrants in city shelters is approximately 14,100.

The recent incident has intensified the ongoing debate over migrant transportation policies. Abbott has been criticized for his approach, which involves sending migrants to Democrat-run cities to highlight the border crisis. Chicago's Mayor Johnson condemned the policy as inhumane, criticizing the lack of support for the migrants who arrive cold, hungry, and traumatized. In response, Abbott's press secretary urged Johnson to address these concerns with President Joe Biden, asserting that Texas will continue its actions until the federal government effectively secures the border.

The situation has raised concerns about the cost of these flights to Texan taxpayers, the overall effectiveness of such policies, and the humanitarian implications for the migrants involved. The crisis at the US-Mexico border continues to escalate, with record numbers attempting to cross, and law enforcement officials worrying about the increased opportunities for drug cartels to exploit the chaos. The federal government's response, including shutting down ports of entry, has further complicated the situation, impacting international trade and daily commutes.

All of this border invasion lunacy will end the day American taxpayers start voting differently. Until that day arrives this insanity will only continue to get worse. The only question remaining is how much longer American citizens will tolerate illegal (and legal) immigrants being prioritized above themselves. Anything short of voting differently will ensure the craziness continues. The only way to stop this is for voters to extricate themselves from the delusion that Democrats are going to wake up one day & suddenly start putting American citizens first. They need to understand that Democrats will NEVER abandon their Socialist agenda of their own volition. They need to realize that voters will have to LITERALLY THROW Democrats out of office to stop these kinds of policies. Until these realizations are made American citizens can expect more of the same. Remember that the definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results.

No matter where they are sent, they are illegals and Americans are footing the bill. Close the border!
