Former Congressman Accuses Delta of Transporting Undocumented Migrants

    2023-12-24
    • George Santos, recently expelled from Congress, criticized Delta Airlines in a social media video, alleging they transport undocumented migrants without evidence.
    • Right-wing commentator Ashley St Clair claimed to witness migrants on a Delta flight from Phoenix to New York, questioning their travel funding.
    • Congressman Matt Gaetz demanded an explanation from Delta Airlines and TSA regarding the transport of migrants and their identification procedures.

George Santos, a former congressman who was expelled following a damning ethics report, has publicly condemned Delta Airlines in a video rant.

He accused the airline of transporting undocumented migrants, directing his frustration towards Delta's CEO Ed Bastian. Santos, known for his affinity towards Delta, called the situation a "nightmare" and demanded Bastian explain how many people have been transported without proper identification.

This accusation aligns with claims by Ashley St Clair, a right-wing commentator, who recently shared footage alleging that migrants were being flown from Arizona to New York City. St Clair questioned the funding for these flights and raised concerns about taxpayer dollars being used.

Additionally, Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz has sought answers from Delta regarding their policies on transporting migrants. He wrote to Bastian, inquiring about the number of migrants transported, the funding for their tickets, the identification requirements by TSA, and any incentives Delta might receive for such transportations. Gaetz expressed concerns about security risks due to potential inadequate vetting of these individuals.

The article also discusses the broader context of migrant transportation across the US, with cities like New York and Chicago overwhelmed by the influx, leading to the implementation of shelter limits and other measures to manage the situation. The accuracy of Santos' and St Clair's claims remains unclear, and Delta Airlines has not yet publicly responded to these allegations.

I don’t know much but I do know that Delta is not going to fill up a plane with passengers and fly around without getting reimbursed for their services. My money is on Washington D C writing them a check courtesy of the U S Taxpayer.
