Racial Tensions Ignite Fight at Minneapolis School, Parents Arrested

    2024-01-20
    • A brawl broke out at St. Louis Park High School in Minneapolis involving black and Somali students, with at least two adults arrested.
    • Sanaiah Milon, a student, claimed the fight was due to personal issues and not race-related, though the school is investigating racial motivations.
    • Classes were cancelled the following day, and the school plans to implement additional safety measures upon reopening.

At St. Louis Park High School in Minneapolis, a significant conflict occurred between black and Somali students.

The incident escalated to involve adults, resulting in the arrest of two individuals, Abreeha Annalisa Smith and Latoys Renail Milon. Both were later released without charges. The clash reportedly began over personal disputes, according to Sanaiah Milon, a student involved, who refuted the notion that it was race-driven. However, the school continues to investigate potential racial motivations.

The situation intensified when Sanaiah's mother, Latoys, arrived at the school. Latoys, who had an active warrant for theft of services, was arrested and released within five hours. Smith, another adult involved, also faced legal issues with an active felony warrant and was released shortly after her arrest. The police believe these two adults were key contributors to the altercation.

Videos of the brawl circulated on social media, showing students and adults in physical confrontations. The school district spokesperson highlighted that the involvement of non-employee adults significantly worsened the situation. Both Sanaiah and her mother denied racial factors in the fight, but the school is still investigating this angle.

Following the incident, the high school cancelled classes for a day and remained closed to the public. Injuries reported included scrapes and bruises, treated by the school nurse. There was no confirmation of weapon use in the conflicts. The spokesperson assured that additional safety measures would be implemented when classes resume. However, Sanaiah Milon expressed her reluctance to return to the school, deeming it unsafe after the incident.

Systemic Generational Grievance Victim and Anger Culture in our schools. They tolerate it. We tolerate it. The police are now tolerating it. Democrats teach it. Saturday School for the kids and parents if you want to fix this.
