A beautiful weekend of weather is in store for much of Michigan, with mild temperatures and mostly dry and sunny conditions. Starting with Friday, mostly sunny skies are expected for all of Lower Michigan and much of the Upper Peninsula. It appears a large number of former players will be coming back to East Lansing for the upcoming Spartan Dawg Con event. Michigan State Football’s Director of Player Engagement Kurt Richardson posted on X this week that the guest list for the upcoming Spartan Dawg Con event is loaded. He noted that there’s a “high output” of former Spartan players coming back for the event. Spartan Dawg Con is an annual event hosted by the Spartans’ football program to unite recruits, current players and former players for a weekend event. This will be the third time the Spartans have held this event. Spartan Dawg Con is scheduled for July 26.
