Vesta, MN – The 61st V-esta Day, presented by the Vesta Lions Club, kicks off today with an array of activities for the community. Known for its famous chicken barbecue grilled over the pit, the barbecue will be served at the Vesta Community Center, the former school building, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. For $15, attendees can enjoy a meal that includes half a chicken, potato salad, baked beans, a bun, a pickle, and a beverage. The Bloomington Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public in identifying a suspect involved in a hit-and-run incident. The collision, which left an unoccupied vehicle damaged, transpired on the 5th of July, 2024, at the Mall of America east ramp at around 10:50 PM. According to a post made by the Bloomington Police Department, the driver was reportedly "driving recklessly" before hitting the parked vehicle.

Summer Sounds Concerts at Lake Brophy Park Begin
