With a roster full of transfers from D-1 schools and notably Texas Tech, Abilene Christian came in to Lubbock with a chip on their shoulder and a new offensive coordinator running the Air Raid 2.0. They gave Tech all they could handle. You have to give them credit as they made some great catches and kept the Tech defense on their heals all night long. Not only did the likes of Martinez, Cleveland and Castle give Tech plenty of fits but also Izaiah Kelley who is a former Lubbock Coronado standout. On Saturday, August 31, the #6-ranked New York University women’s volleyball team set off on its first road trip of the season, taking on St Joseph’s University Long Island and host Drew University in Madison, NJ.
