Heat index values ikn the 90s to near 100 °F are forecast Saturday. Dewpoints will reach the middle 60s to low 70s °F. To beat the heat follow these tips. Drink plenty of water, even if you're not thirsty. Take frequent rest breaks in the shade or air conditioning. Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest parts of the day. Never leave children or pets unattended in vehicles. Wear light-colored loose clothing.

While afternoon highs won’t be as sizzlin’ as Friday, it will still be toasty in the southern Valley and parts of NW MN with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.
