DMC Regional Landfill expanded hours for wood waste
Burlington, IA- The DMC Regional Landfill has announced they will have extended hours on Saturday, August 31st to assist residents with wood waste disposal. According to a news release, the landfill will open on Saturday and have normal business hours until noon, and from noon to 4 PM it will be open for wood waste and brush disposal only. The last car allowed in at 3:45 PM.
Former Iowa professor facilitating forums in Quincy, Macomb to address issues facing electorate
QUINCY — Author and former University of Iowa sociology professor, Mark Chaffee, will be facilitating open community forums on issues facing the electorate in Burlington and Keokuk, Iowa, Quincy and Macomb.
