A man from Bridgton has been arrested as the result of an ongoing investigation into an illegal drug distribution operation in Fryeburg. Commander Scott Pelletier with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency says 50-year-old Kevin L. Thurston of Bridgton has been charged with drug trafficking and possession after authorities found Fentanyl, Meth, Cocaine, firearms, and money on the man following a traffic stop.

A bright, sunny day provided for a successful fundraising event for Boothbay Harbor Fire Department on Saturday, July 27 at Sherman Field, Boothbay Region High School. The Lake Keepers Camp, right on Lake St. George, aims to teach kids about important lake science through hands-on activities and games.
