76ers' Joel Embiid drops strong 'super team' take on Jayson Tatum, Celtics
A huge knock on Joel Embiid's resume is that he has never made it to the Eastern Conference Finals. Every year it seems like the Philadelphia 76ers end up facing some heavy hitters that prevent them from winning. In the 2019 postseason, the 2023 Most Valuable Player even went home crying alongside Jimmy Butler and Ben Simmons after Kawhi Leonard sank an improbable shot for the Toronto Raptors. However, it looks like the big man is now taking jabs at Brad Stevens' Boston Celtics which is led by Jayson Tatum.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The muggy air and unsettled weather pattern kicks up a bit on Wednesday with mostly cloudy skies, temperatures in the 80s and off-and-on showers and storms. While we are not expecting anything widespread, we will have slow-moving areas of heavy rain, so localized flooding may affect some areas. That pattern continues again on Thursday with a greater chance for storms during the evening as a front pushes through, adding extra energy for Mother Nature to work with. In recent weeks, adding a starter has become an emerging need for the team. Morosi did note that Taijuan Walker is expected to return in August. Walker has been on the injured list since June 23. In addition, it is anticipated that Spencer Turnbull will return near the end of August. Turnbull has been on the injured list since June 27. Having as much starting pitching depth as possible is beneficial for a team planning to make a run in October. Also, remember how the Phillies used Zach Eflin during the 2022 postseason.
