Late Pittsburgh emcee Mac Miller was a highly aware musician. Even as a young man, he had more musical knowledge than his counterparts and he wasn’t just listening to rap music. From R&B to funk and soul, Miller listened to a range of genres, and these can be heard in a lot of his material.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to land a wide receiver, and to this point, Brandon Aiyuk seems to be their top target. With recent reports claiming Las Vegas Raiders' Davante Adams could be on the list as well, it appears to be clear that this team is ready to make a splash.
Steelers' Aaron Smith Had A Rare Agreement With AFC North Rival Willie Anderson When It Came To The Pro Bowl
The Pittsburgh Steelers had one of the best defenses in the NFL throughout the 2000s. It led the organization to two Super Bowl titles, with countless years of being strong contenders for the Lombardi Trophy. Many legends played on those defenses, including Troy Polamalu and James Harrison - but those defenses also featured some lesser-known guys. Players like Aaron Smith, who oftentimes was the key to the defense's strong play. Smith is an underrated player when it comes to the entire NFL, but Steelers fans know how impactful he was to the team. Smith often squared off against Willie Anderson, who was an...
George Pickens, now Steelers’ unquestioned No. 1 receiver, should see his fantasy value rise
Uber-talented Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens had an interesting offseason, despite not being directly involved in it at all. Not too many receivers can say they lost all three quarterbacks (Kenny Pickett, Mitch Trubisky, Mason Rudolph), two fellow starting receivers (Diontae Johnson, Allen Robinson II), an offensive coordinator (Matt Canada) and wide receivers coach (Frisman Jackson) from one season.

Capel's special culture earns praise from players
Family. It's one word that can be used in several situations. But, when a collection of people are close and share common interests or goals, they can develop a lifelong bond. They can create a family. On Thursday, a day after Jeff Capel signed a three-year extension to remain the head men's basketball coach at Pitt through at least the 2030 season, that word was used by Pitt players, both old and new, to describe the type of culture he has built since taking over the program in 2018. While there are probably several contributing factors to Pitt's success over the last two...

Steelers’ Christian Kuntz Detailed Scary Moment Involving Chris Boswell: 'He Didn’t Look Good'
The Pittsburgh Steelers were playing against the Cleveland Browns when kicker Chris Boswell was called upon to run a fake field goal. It was a 28-yard attempt, and the game was tied 3-3 late in the second quarter. Boswell received the ball and rolled out, trying to find an open man. Unable to find any options in the end zone, Boswell headed toward the sideline. A Browns defender, charging full speed, collided with Boswell, knocking him out of bounds. It was a frightening moment for Boswell and the Steelers as their star kicker had to be taken to the locker room...

Blessed are the Peacemakers
I am writing this hard on the heels of watching footage from Butler, Pennsylvania from the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. Probably like you, I have been hungry for accurate information. The footage shows the former President slightly turning his head while speaking, then reacting as a bullet clipped his ear, and then going to the ground while being surrounded by members of the Secret Service. What that footage didn’t show was that one person was killed from a head wound while protectively crouching over members of his family, and two others were critically injured. The person killed was a firefighter and former Fire Chief in his community, and I have subsequently learned he was also a Methodist who attended a sister church in my Annual Conference (that’s denominational speak for a larger grouping of churches based on geography). I’ve also learned that the shooter was a 20-year-old man (a kid to someone as old as me) whose family was as shocked upon learning the news of his involvement as the rest of us.
Steelers' Ryan Clark Believes It's Critical Team Must 'Psychologically Assess What Being In Chicago' Did To Justin Fields
The Pittsburgh Steelers acquired two starting caliber quarterbacks this offseason: Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. They both struggled with their former teams. Wilson, who had success early in his career, could not replicate it with the Denver Broncos. Fields, however, seems to have been doomed from the start with the Chicago Bears. Now, the Steelers have their work cut out for them. Thanks to his incredible athletic abilities, Fields caught the attention of NFL scouts. His struggle in Chicago appears to have been caused by a dysfunctional franchise that failed to develop Fields. He is hungry for success, but during his time...

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the spotlight once again for their treatment and ultimate trade of former first-round pick Kenny Pickett.
