JV football sprints to victory over Reese
The JV football team sprinted out of the gate at Reese on Wednesday, scoring 32 points in the first quarter in a 40-6 win over the Rockets. Hudson Myers led the way with three touchdowns. Gauge Woelzlein and Layden DeLong scored Millington’s other two touchdowns. Woelzlein, Drake Terwilliger, Coleton Schisler, and Noah Steward (2) all converted points after touchdown plays.
Saginaw Fire Department gets new flagship truck
SAGINAW, MI — The Saginaw Fire Department has a new flagship vehicle in its fleet. Truck 1, a 100-foot 2024 Rosenbauer Cobra ladder truck, arrived in the city on Tuesday, Aug. 27. Firefighters have been training in its operation since then, the plan being to put into service in the coming weeks.
