Hold onto your seats, Y&R fans! Genoa City is about to get a whole lot more intense with the return of Cameron Kirsten. As Linden Ashby steps back into his infamous role, Sharon's already shaky world is set to be rocked to its core. With her bipolar meds being tampered with and hallucinations blurring the lines of reality, Sharon's struggle might lead to explosive consequences. Here’s how it might unfold.
Cameron Kirsten Back from the Dead
Linden Ashby is ready to play his notorious role in Cameron Kirsten's upcoming return to Genoa City. Although it's easy to believe that the writers would figure out a method to make Cameron come back to life, the reality is that his reappearance is probably connected to Sharon's present plot.
Poor Sharon Newman is having mental health issues at the moment. Fans of Y&R are aware that she has changed her bipolar medication, and although her loved ones are witnessing some strange behavior, viewers have seen Sharon's side of the story, and things are becoming really spooky.
In addition to leaving her house in disarray and yelling at Phyllis without reason, Sharon just experienced a delusional episode in which she kissed her ex, Nick. This gave TeamShick some small joy, but given everything going on in Sharon's life, a reunion is probably not in the cards for the foreseeable future. Is Sharon experiencing a delusion regarding Cameron Kirsten?
Sharon's Mental Health Crisis
It is difficult to deny the possibility that Sharon might see him appear out of nowhere and assume that he is once more pursuing her. She might initially experience delusions about getting gifts, letters, and other things (just like he did the last time), and afterwards she might begin to see him at the park, in the office, and in her house, as well as behind bushes and trees.
Faith, Nick, and Mariah are aware that something is wrong with Sharon. But would they accept that her claims of stalking are related to her mental health or take her claims seriously? It's difficult to say because they aren't seeing what fans are.
Investigating the Y&R history vaults reveals that Mariah came to GC after Victor bribed her to agitate Sharon. So maybe Nick and the others will think that someone else has a grudge to do the same.
However, since everyone has returned to Genoa City from the afterlife, they might also think that Cameron is back and prepared for retaliation! Sharon's mental state will deteriorate before anything is done.
If notes and gifts in the form of "stalking receipts" are found by Sharon, Nick, Mariah, and Faith might find themselves concentrating more on finding Cameron than on helping Sharon. Could Sharon wind up doing more harm than good to herself or someone she loves?
