The Young and the Restless (Y&R) is heading toward Sharon's struggle with hallucinations of Cameron, which will lead her down a perilous path. As "Cameron" pushes her to act on her darkest impulses, Sharon’s mental state spirals, putting Lucy's life at risk. Get ready for intense drama as Sharon battles her inner demons and faces the potential fallout of her actions.

Sharon's Hallucinations Take a Dark Turn

Recent episodes of The Young and the Restless (Y&R) indicate that now that Cameron is back, in the form of these hallucinations, he will be offering Sharon a lot of poor advice. The longer "Cameron" stays, the more probable it is that he will get Sharon to do some terrible crimes.

This image of Cameron that Sharon has created in her head will be expressing all of her darkest desires. Sharon will have difficulty navigating the circumstances as "Cameron" pushes her to take risky, daring actions. Will there be a plot to get rid of Lucy in one of those moves?

Let's consider "Cameron's" potential response to Lucy's drinking and what he could advise Sharon to do. Faith may provide Sharon with updates and leave her mother worried when she busts Lucy with alcohol.

    Lucy's Life on the Line

It's clear that the show is attempting to draw parallels with the previous Y&R tale of Cassie dying in a vehicle accident while attempting to drive Daniel home while intoxicated. Since Sharon won't be taking her medication, she will be extremely paranoid and therefore more receptive to whatever awful prophecies or advice "Cameron" might provide.

"Cameron" would argue that, if Sharon does nothing, Lucy's alcoholism will ultimately cause Faith to pass away, the same as Daniel's inebriation caused Sharon to lose Cassie. "Cameron" might claim that Lucy is troublesome, much like her father, and wonder what Sharon would do about it.

It is possible that "Cameron" is warning Sharon that she will only have herself to blame if she loses another daughter and does not remove Lucy from the picture. Sharon might feel that she can't allow history to repeat itself because she already holds herself accountable for her inability to safeguard Cassie.

Could “Cameron” convince Sharon to eliminate Lucy in some way? Is it possible that Sharon will try to remove Lucy from the map or even hold her captive? Watch out, because Lucy's life might be in jeopardy if she is not cautious!
