General Hospital Spoilers: Molly Breakdown and Ric Return to Help Her

General Hospital (GH) reveals that the aftermath of Molly and TJ’s tragic loss is hitting them both in deeply emotional but very different ways. As the weight of grief presses down, their relationship may face one of its biggest challenges yet.

TJ’s Coping Mechanism

Currently, Molly and TJ are handling their losses in very different ways. TJ has been attempting to devote all of his efforts to completing the necessary activities following the baby's passing, such as deciding on a name, organizing the funeral, and packing the nursery. Conversely, Molly has been eschewing all of that and distancing herself from TJ. Molly has largely been focusing on venting her rage at Ava because it hurts too much.

Molly tries her best to suppress all of her other emotions, but she is unable to do so. When she eventually finds the time to grieve, this loss will hit her hard. It is possible that Molly will make a big deal at the baby's funeral because all of her pent-up emotions will finally be released. It is conceivable that Molly would completely lose it at that point and have a significant tantrum that worries Alexis.

A Breakdown at the Funeral?

Molly might experience a breakdown and pave the way for her father's reappearance if the funeral takes place during the week of August 12–16. Will Ric receive an SOS from Alexis regarding Molly's concerning behavior? Since Ric is scheduled to return to the show during the week of August 19–23, it is possible that his distress call from Alexis will bring him home shortly after.

Naturally, Ric might find other plots to follow later, but Molly's grief and the need for her father's support will probably be the main reasons for his return at first. Our GH predictions suggest that in the upcoming weeks, Molly and TJ's relationship may be tested more than ever.

Even though Molly has been consoling Kristina in the hospital, now that the baby is no longer with them, their sisterhood may also be put to the test. Molly will have the support of Alexis and Sam during her difficult time, but it will also be good for Ric to return home and rekindle their relationship.
